Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Tecconnect, a platform designed to support athletes, videographers, coaches, and families by enabling video capture, livestreaming, content sharing, athlete profiles, and performance analysis. By accessing or using Tecconnect (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") and our Youth Privacy Policy ("Policy"). Please read these Terms carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms By using Tecconnect, you acknowledge that: - You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. - If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and accepted these Terms on your behalf. - If you are a parent/guardian creating or approving an account for a minor, you accept full responsibility for the minor's use of the Platform. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
2. Eligibility - Users 18 years or older may create an account independently. - Users under 18 years must have a parent or guardian: - Create or approve the account, - Consent to all content created for or about the minor, - Accept all data handling, storage, and processing terms. We reserve the right to request verification of age or consent.
3. Parental / Guardian Consent for Minors Parents or guardians agree that Tecconnect may: - Collect, store, and process videos, photos, profile information, and highlights of youth athletes. - Display athletic performance content within the app, livestreams, and discover features. - Allow authorized videographers to upload footage containing minors. - Allow athletes or guardians to download or share their own content. Parents/guardians acknowledge and agree that: - Tecconnect does not own the athletes' likeness. - We only display content uploaded with their consent. - You may request removal of any video or profile at any time.
4. Content Submission & Ownership. *4.1 User-Generated Content Users and videographers uploading content ("Submitters") agree that: - You own or have secured rights to all content submitted. - You grant Tecconnect a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, stream, and process the content within the Platform. - This license is solely for the purpose of operating and improving Tecconnect.
*4.2 Minors in Videos You may upload videos or images containing minors only if: - You are the parent/guardian of the minor, or - You have secured verifiable consent from the parent/guardian, or - You are an approved videographer operating under an organization (school, club, etc.) that has obtained consent. If you upload content without proper consent, you accept full responsibility for any consequences.
5. Videographer Responsibility and Liability Tecconnect provides tools for videographers to film games, upload highlights, livestream events, and create packages for athletes. Videographers acknowledge: - Tecconnect is NOT responsible for how videographers use, edit, distribute, or repurpose footage of athletes under the age of 18. - Videographers agree that they: - Will obtain necessary permissions from parents, guardians, or organizations. - Will respect all privacy rights of youth athletes. - Will not misuse or exploit content. - Are solely responsible for any legal claims arising from unauthorized recording or distribution. Tecconnect may suspend or permanently remove videographers who violate these rules.
6. Athlete Rights Youth athletes (and their parent/guardian) have the right to: - Request corrections to their profile. - Request removal of any video, image, or highlight. - Restrict content visibility. - Request deletion of their account and associated data. Requests may be made through: support@tecconect.com
7. Privacy Practices for Youth Athletes Tecconnect follows strict privacy guidelines under: - COPPA (U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) - Relevant state minor privacy laws - International youth data standards where applicable We commit to: - Never selling personal data of minors. - Never allowing third-party advertisers to target minors. - Limiting data collection only to what is necessary. - Providing full transparency in how data is used. Data Collected for Minors May Include: - Athlete name (optional) - Team or school affiliation - Videos, highlights, and images - Performance statistics - In-app communication data (e.g., comments, likes) Data We Do NOT Collect: - Social security numbers - Government IDs - Financial data from minors - Sensitive biometric data
8. Safety and Reporting If you witness misuse, inappropriate content, or unauthorized uploads of minors: **Report immediately to: safety@tecconnect.com Tecconnect will investigate and take action including: - Removing content - Suspending or banning accounts - Contacting appropriate organizations when legally required
9. Livestreaming Policies When livestreaming youth sports: - Videographers must ensure the environment is appropriate for public viewing. - Parents/guardians understand livestreams may display minors in real time. - Tecconnect cannot guarantee the identity of every viewer. We do not permit: - Harassment - Exploitation - Unsafe filming practices - Recording in private or inappropriate environments Violations result in immediate removal.
10. Limitation of Liability You agree that Tecconnect: - Is not responsible for unauthorized use of videos, clips, or images uploaded by videographers or other third parties. - Is not liable for actions taken by users outside the Platform. - Does not guarantee accuracy of user information. - Is not responsible for legal disputes between videographers, parents, organizations, or athletes.
11. Removal Requests & Data Deletion Parents/guardians may at any time request: - Removal of a specific video - Removal of the athlete's profile - Full deletion of personal data All requests are honored within a reasonable timeframe.
12. Account Termination Tecconnect may suspend or terminate accounts that: - Upload content without proper consent - Endanger minors - Violate privacy laws - Misuse the Platform - Commit fraud or impersonation
13. Updates to Terms Tecconnect may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms. Significant changes will be announced through email or app notices.

TECCONNECT PRIVACY POLICY - COPPA

Tecconnect ("Tecconnect," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of children, families, athletes, coaches, videographers, and schools. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information, including information governed by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
This policy applies to our mobile applications, websites, and services (collectively, the "Services").
1. Scope & Applicability Tecconnect provides a sports video and analytics platform used by youth and high-school athletic programs. Some users may be under the age of 13, and Tecconnect complies with COPPA and other applicable U.S. privacy laws when handling children's personal information.
2. Age Gating & Eligibility Age Screening During account creation, Tecconnect requires users to provide their date of birth. • Users under 13 years old may only use the Services after verifiable parental or legal guardian consent is obtained. • Users 13 years and older may create accounts subject to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.
Tecconnect does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
3. Information We Collect A. Information Collected from All Users Depending on role (athlete, parent, coach, videographer, school administrator), we may collect: • Name • Email address • Account credentials • Team, school, or league affiliation • Usage data (e.g., logins, interactions, content views) • Device and technical information (limited to what is necessary to operate the service)
B. Information Collected from Children Under 13 (With Parental Consent Only)
With verified parental consent, Tecconnect may collect: • Child's name or nickname • Team and school affiliation • Athlete profile information • Photos, audio, and videos uploaded or recorded through the platform • Performance-related metadata (e.g., participation in games or practices)
Tecconnect does not require children to provide more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in the Services.
4. How We Use Information We use collected information to: • Provide and operate the Tecconnect platform • Enable video recording, storage, playback, and sharing within authorized groups • Manage teams, schools, and user roles • Generate highlights and analytics (manual or automated) • Communicate with users and parents • Maintain platform security and integrity • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
5. Parental Notice & Verifiable Parental Consent Direct Parental Notice Before collecting personal information from a child under 13, Tecconnect provides parents or legal guardians with direct notice explaining: • What information we collect from the child • How the information is used • Whether the information is shared • The parent's rights under COPPA
Verifiable Parental Consent Tecconnect obtains verifiable parental consent using approved methods, which may include: • Signed consent forms • Credit or debit card verification • Government-issued ID verification • Other FTC-approved verification methods
Until consent is verified, data collection from the child is limited or disabled.
6. Parental Rights (COPPA) Parents or legal guardians of children under 13 have the right to: • Review the personal information collected about their child • Request deletion of their child's information • Refuse or revoke consent at any time • Prevent further collection or use of their child's information Requests may be submitted by contacting us at: privacy@tecconnect.ai (example — update before publishing)
7. Sharing & Disclosure of Information Tecconnect does not sell children's personal information. We may share information only: • With authorized users within the same team, school, or organization • With service providers who support platform functionality (e.g., video hosting, cloud infrastructure), under strict contractual confidentiality obligations • When required by law or legal process • To protect the safety, rights, or property of users or Tecconnect
8. Data Retention & Deletion Tecconnect retains personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, including:
• Active team or school participation • Compliance with legal obligations • Dispute resolution and enforcement of agreements
When information is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymized. Parents may request deletion of a child's data at any time.
9. Data Security Tecconnect implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including: • Secure access controls • Encrypted data transmission where appropriate • Restricted internal access based on role • Ongoing monitoring and review of security practices
10. Third-Party Services Tecconnect may use third-party service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics) to support platform functionality. These providers are: • Prohibited from using personal information for their own purposes • Required to maintain appropriate security measures • Restricted from collecting children's data beyond Tecconnect's instructions
11. Children's Media & Content Videos, photos, and audio featuring minors are: • Accessible only to authorized users (e.g., team members, parents, coaches) • Subject to role-based permissions • Not publicly searchable by default Ownership and usage rights are governed by Tecconnect's Terms of Service.
12. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When material changes are made, we will: • Update the "Last Updated" date • Provide notice within the app or by email where required • Obtain renewed parental consent if required by law
